Jimmy Earl Day, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at his residence. Born November 26, 1938, in Morgan County, he was the son of Jesse Earl and Bonnie (Tackett) Day.

Jimmy was a fur buyer for Groenewold Fur and Wool and a self employed Farmer.

Surviving relatives include: three sons, Ronnie Day of Bloomfield, Tommy Day of Leaf River, Illinois and Donnie Day of Polo, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jesse Day, Paul Day, Cassie Day, April Koontz and Caleb Day; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Sue Day on December 27, 2013 and his parents.

There will be no public visitation or services.
