Jim Gilmore
/Jim Gilmore, 81, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday February 3, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born December 17, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Aubrey and Florence Ann (Kelly) Gilmore.
Jim was a truck driver for Holland Dairy, he was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and a member of the Antioch Christian Church. Jim had a love of sports, playing and watching his children and grandchildren was a passion of his.
Surviving relatives include his wife Linda Gilmore, his children, Terry Gilmore (Kim), Tracy Hughes (Chris), his grandchildren, Sierra Huffman, Nicole Hill (Cade), Nate Hughes, Landon Gilmore, Lance Ellett (Macy), Logan Croslow (Jesse), and his great grandchildren, Drake Croslow, Bria Hill and baby Hill arriving in August.
Jim Was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Gilmore.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday and noon until the hour of service on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday February 11, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the Bloomfield Athletic Department in Jim’s name.
