Jewelledean A. Haseman, age 79, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 7:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Altenheim Health and Living in Indianapolis. She was born in Linton, Indiana on June 7, 1940, the daughter of Leo D. & Nannie C. (Wilson) Robertson.

Jewelledean was a graduate of Pleasantville High School and graduated from Indiana State University with a masters in teaching. She taught for 30 years, retiring from Linton-Stockton High School.  

She was a member of Saron United Church of Christ of Linton, Tri Kappa of Linton, and Eastern Star of Dugger, past worthy matron.  She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Jewelledean is survived by her husband of 57 years, James S. "Jim" Haseman of Linton, her daughter, Jan Kulik of Indianapolis, son-in-law, Michael Kulik of St. John, and two grandchildren, Christopher (Claire Thoma) Kulik and Catherine (Scott Johnson) Kulik.

Funeral service will be held and webcast at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 23, 2020, with Jeff Fulk officiating. Private burial will follow at Woodward Cemetery in Dugger.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodward Cemetery or a foundation of the givers choice, through the funeral home.
