Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Coulter, 63, of Worthington, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Jeff was born in Nobelsville, Indiana on May 20, 1958 to Donald Richard Coulter and Shirley Lee (Holt) Coulter.

Jeff graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1976 and was the Regional Manager for Sams Club in Terre Haute for many years. Jeff was known for volunteering, he was a 15 year member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 106, where he was the Vice Commander, Detachment Membership Chairman, Squadron Membership Chairman, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7118 Auxiliary President. Jeff had a passion for helping Veterans and giving back to the Worthington Community.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Linda Joyce (Allen) Coulter whom he married on September 26, 1981, daughters, Cheryl Coulter (Doug Powell), Angela Dawn Richardson, Keelin Neshay Coulter, grandchildren, Laikyn Dawn Richardson, Morgan Alexis Richardson, Warrik Tate Richardson, Ayla Marie Powell, siblings, Debby Carrico, Doug (Vicki) Coulter, Teresa Fiscus(Jerry White), and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Richard Coulter, Greg Coulter, and brother-in-law, Kenny Carrico.

Funeral services will be 6:00 PM, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 23 South Jefferson Street, Worthington, Indiana 47471. Pastor Paul McHenry will officiate.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
