Janice Rose Hamlin “Granny” 80,  of Worthington, IN passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born in Gilmore, IN May 10, 1940 the daughter of Leland Johnson and Wilma (Bohnert) Johnson.

Janice graduated from Union High School the class of 1958, she retired  after over 20 years from Pioneer Hybrid.

Granny was always a Loving and Caring lady and never missed out on any family functions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Donald Paul Hamlin, February 19, 2008, a brother, Jeffrey Dale Johnson, and a niece, Terri Joann Bruce.

Survivors include one daughter, Cami Bredeweg (James) of Lyons, IN, brother, Paul “Mick” Johnson, two sisters, Glenda Bruce (Jim) of Pittsboro, IN, Susan Herndon (Doc) of Jasonville, IN, two grandchildren, Megan Brust (Fred) and Morgan Bredeweg, one great grandchild, Tucker Brust, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home with Bro J.B. Smith officiating. Burial in the Worthington Cemetery, Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Saturday at the funeral home.
