James W. Miller, Jr., age 60, of Solsberry passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on November 18, 1963 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of James Sr. and Sue (Gillihan) Miller.

Jim attended Owen Valley High School. He was a welder for Cook Medical group and the first to graduate from the Cook Pathway program on 2016. Jim married Darlene Anderson on April 26, 2008 in Ellettsville, IN. He attended the House of Prayer and Little Cincinnati Church. Jim loved riding motorcycles, fireworks, his rottweilers, and blowing things up using tannerite.

Jim is survived by his mother, Sue Miller; loving wife, Darlene Miller; two daughters, Heather Thomas and Brylee Miller; three siblings, Doug Miller (Sarah), Lisa Walden (Jeff) and David Miller; five grandchildren, Jade Ford, Willow Ford, Abbie Miller, Elijah Miller, and Savannah Miller; step grandson, Casey James Branigin; nieces and nephews, Mike Miller, Stephanie Miller, Carrie Monroe, Amanda Myers and Sierra Miller; great niece and nephews, Gabby Hatton, Javen Jackson, Adrian Peña, Tyler Banks, Dorian Miller, Jarrett Wise, Dwight Myers and Clyde Myers.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Miller, Sr., son Jay Miller, and step-daughter Heather Spencer.

Funeral services for Jim will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Troy Borst officiating. Burial will follow in Adel Cemetery in Spencer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
