James K. Adcock, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born September 6, 1947 in Greeneville, Kentucky, he was the son of Donald K. and Lois H. (Green) Adcock.

Jim retired from the Bloomfield State Bank. He also worked for Holt Monuments and was the Town Marshall of Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: two sons, Jimmy Adcock (Nickie) and Adam Adcock; his grandchildren, AJ Adcock, Brent Adcock, Tristian Adcock and Harley Pfaff; two brothers, Mick Adcock and Jerry Adcock; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna L. Adcock on June 13, 2021 and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Monday and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
