James Albert Wells

James Albert Wells 77, of Springville, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his residence. Born December 30, 1944 in Bedford, he was the son of Charles and Thelma (Wheeler) Wells.

James was a machine operator for Otis Elevator retiring after over thirty years of service. He served his country with the United State Army in the Vietnam War.

Surviving relatives include: his children, Jamie Lee Shelton, Scott Allen Wells, Sandy Louise Brazzell and Paul David Wells; his grandchildren, Jeff Tirey, Tiffany Bridges, Bambi Brazzell, Levi Brazell, Mack Wells, Cody Wells and Alisha Wells; ten great grandchildren and a brother, Jerry Wells.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacque Lee (Legge) Wells on August 26, 2013, one brother, Bob Wells and his parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Owensburg.cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the cemetery.
