James A. Dotterer, 66, of Worthington, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on February 7, 2022. James was born in Pine Castle Air Force Base, Orlando, Florida on May 7, 1955 to Richard Travis Dotterer and Mary Evelyn (Ausman) Dotterer. He always went by Jim.

Jim was married to the love of his life for 38 years, Marsha L. (Collenbaugh) Dotterer on May 21, 1983. Jim had recently retired in December from Cook Urological in Spencer. He loved his job and made so many dear friends through the years. Jim loved to shoot guns, fish and go camping. with his family. He was a member of the Worthington Church of Christ.

Jim is survived by his wife Marsha Dotterer, children, David Dotterer and girlfriend Abbey Breit of Louisville, Kentucky, Adam and wife Mary Dotterer of Worthington, grandchildren Noah and Kayleigh Dotterer, Leilanii and Levi Higgins and Anthony Phillips, brothers Travis and wife Patricia Dotterer, Joe and wife Roxy Dotterer, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and 1 great great nephew.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday March 5, 2022 at the Worthington Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Worthington Church of Christ.
