Jack Lee Long, Jr.

Jack Lee Long, Jr., 66, of Worthington, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born October 19, 1958 in Linton, he was the son of Jack Lee Sr. and Grace Marie (Joslin) Long.

Jack was a boiler technician for the United States and Navy and for NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Bloomfield American Legion Post 196.

Surviving relatives include: his wife Tonia (Rowe) Long whom he married June 7, 1983; his children, Jack Long, James Long, Lisa Long, Crystal Bowersock (Bobby), Kenneth Long, Nakita Hansel, Kelsey Miller and Margaret Hansel; one brother, Dewey Long; two sisters, Winona Weaver and Sharon Rowe; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a child, Ulysses Hansel, two grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Melissa Long and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Davy Dyer officiating.

Public visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Tonia Long to help with the cost of final expenses.
