Jack D. Lindsey, 86, of Bloomington, formally of Solsberry passed away Tuesday January 30, 2024 at Brickyard Health Care in Bloomington.

Born December 11, 1937 in Solsberry, Indiana the son of Edgar and Dorothy (Abram) Lindsey.

Jack was retired rural letter carrier, he was a veteran of U.S. Army National Guard, a member of the Solsberry Christian Church, Solsberry Masonic Lodge # 411 and the Postal Workers Union.

Surviving relatives include his wife Janice Sue Lindsey, two daughters, Denice (Scott) Stonier, Dawn (Brent) Burks, six grandchildren, Nicole Stonier, Megan Stonier, Tyler Stonier, Curtis Burks, Quinna Burks, Kyle Burks, seven great grandchildren, Samuel, Reghan, Miah, Leelah, Makayla, Cole and Ori.

Jack was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lindsey, one brother, Delbert (Maxine) Lindsey and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 12 P.M. at the Solsberry Christian Church.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday at the Solsberry Christian Church with Tom McNery and Jim Weimer officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Jack’s name be given to the Solsberry Christian Church.
