Imogene Pruett

Imogene Pruett, age 90, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 4:00 am on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Owen Valley Health Campus. She was born in Greene County, IN on November 7, 1932, the daughter of Vernon & Earleane (Bedwell) Pruett.

She was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School and she also received her Bachelor”s Degree in Education from Indiana State University. She worked as a business teacher at Martinsville High School for 32 years before retiring in the 1980”s. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and working on wood crafts.

Imogene is survived by her sisters, Nora Billings, Mary Schoolcraft, Berneice (Glenn) Teachmond, Betty Emery and Rita Livingston as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers-in-law.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
