Houston Dwayne Hinkle

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious son, Houston Dwayne Hinkle who went home to be with Jesus on February 2, at just 10 months old. Though his time on earth was brief, his life was filled with love, courage, and the undeniable presence of God’s grace.

Born on March 15, Houston was a warrior from the very beginning, facing every challenge with a strength far beyond his years. Though he never left the hospital, he touched countless lives—his family, his caregivers, and all who followed his journey with love and prayers. His tiny hands held hearts, his bright eyes reflected God’s light, and his presence reminded us daily of the power of faith and love.

He was deeply loved by his parents, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and so many who carried him in their hearts. While we mourn his passing, we rejoice in knowing he is now whole and healed in the arms of Jesus, where there is no more pain, only perfect peace.

Houston’s favorite stuff where face times, craft time and physical therapy; his favorite face to make was his side eye, he loved when mommy would read to him.

Surviving relatives include his parents, Heath and Taylor Hinkle, his maternal grandparents, Jake and Misty Graf, his paternal grandparents, Kenny and Beth Hinkle, his aunts and uncles, Felicity Graf, Baylin Graf, Laytin Graf, Zaydin Graf, Jaybin Graf, Jaklin Graf, Kenny (Ashlie) Hinkle, his two cousins, Everly and Ezra Hinkle, his great grandparents, Charman and Morris Byers, Randy and Debbie Todd, Steve and Cheri Graf.

Houston was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Kenny and Pat Hinkle, Lana Graf, Judy and Preston Ainscough and Rex Malone.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday at the Antioch Christian Church and 10 A.M. until the hour on Friday at the Church.

The services for Houston’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday February 7, 2025 at the Antioch Christian Church with Pastor Jack Tolbert and Pastor Chris Babcock officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. We will honor his beautiful spirit and the immeasurable love he brought into this world. Though our arms are empty, our hearts are full of the love he gave and the hope of seeing him again in eternity.

The family ask that memorial donations in Houston’s name be given to Jaklin and Houston’s Riley Toy Drive

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4

Rest in Jesus’ arms, sweet Houston. You were so loved.
