Herbert "Herb" R. Stough, age 83, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Sullivan County Community Hospital. He was born in Worthington, IN on April 16, 1937, the son of Roy Stough & Ruby (Boriff) Hall.

He was a 1957 graduate of Linton High School. He worked for RCA for almost 40 years and retired in 1987. He loved woodworking and was in the IWCS woodworking club for around many years. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on his pick-up trucks. 

Herb is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Jacqueline (Brown) Stough of Linton; daughters, Cynthia (Gerry) Staley of Bicknell and Crystal (Jon) Taylor of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Zoey and Zachary; great grandchildren, Piper, Raven, Jess, Liz, Lilly and Alexis.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian Stough.

Private services will be observed by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
