Helen Marie May

Helen Marie May, 91, of Solsberry passed away Saturday December 4, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born November 2, 1930 in Lawrence County, Indiana the daughter of John and Ruth (Egan) Fields.

Helen was retired from RCA in Bloomington, she loved to Quilt, Crochet, plant flowers and was a wonderful cook.

Surviving relatives include her children, Philip May, Donna (Mike) Britton, Cheryl (Gerald) Hammer, Ruth Ann (Brian) Mauder, she has six grandchildren; Jeff (Amanda) Hammer, Tom Britton, Tim (Angie) Britton, Rhonda Britton, Tyler Mauder and Cameron Mauder; her great grandchildren, Kristen (Ian) Portteus, Logan (Lexie) Britton, Kayleigh Hammer, Dallas Hammer, Carli Stewart, Cody Stewart, two great-great grandchildren, Greyson Potteus, Claira Potteus and two she loved as her own, Wayne Botkin and Lisa Rush.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, Delbert and Harvey Fields, sisters, Martha May and Louise Davis.

A graveside service will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel on Thursday December 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Tom Jacob officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
