Hazel Marie (Corwin) Crays, 89, of Bloomfield passed away Friday July 20, 2018 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born February 15, 1929 in Bloomfield the daughter of Ira Patterson Corwin and Mamie Clarice (Terrell) Corwin.

Hazel was a homemaker, she had worked as postmaster of Scotland and at Crane Credit Union, she was a member of the Scotland United Presbyterian Church and the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church.

Surviving relatives include her two children, Charlis Crays, Mike (Marilyn) Crays all of Bloomfield, three boys she raised as her own, Rick Correll of Odon, Mark Correll of Colorado, Roger Correll of Bloomington, one sister, Marjorie Ernestine of Bloomfield and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband William C. “Bill” Crays on June 15, 2010, three sons she raised as her own, James, Randy and Scott Correll, one great grandson, Joshua Merritt and her parents

There will be no public visitation.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Scotland Cemetery with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating, burial will be at Scotland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the Scotland Cemetery in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
