Harry D. Hudson 83, of Bloomfield, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at his residence. Born April 15, 1939 in Greene County, he was the son of Paul Fairbanks and Bertha (Lucas) Hudson.

Harry retired from Westinghouse/ABB, Honorably Discharged from the Army in 1964, and was a member of the American Legion Post #196 Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: his children, Kenneth Hudson and Judy Kay Alton; grandchildren, Austin Hudson, Alex Alton and MacKenzie Goodwin; and his great grandchildren, Arianna and Zeke.

He was preceded in death by his son, A. Scott Hudson on September 11, 2022, his sister, Ruth Richardson and his parents.

Graveside services for Harry will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Roach officiating.

Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Greene County Clothe a Child and/or Greene County Toys for Tots in Harry’s name.
