Guy Edward Kenworthy

Guy Edward Kenworthy, age 75, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Linton Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 19, 1943, the son of Dewey Kenworthy & Hazel M. (Kramer) Kenworthy.

Guy was a 1961 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School.  He went to Diesel Automotive College and worked one year at Mac Trucks in Indy. He built and owned Halo Campers, and owned and operated Guy Kenworthy Home Improvement for many years. He enjoyed teaching building trades at Linton-Stockton High School.

He enjoyed coaching his kids in softball, baseball, and football, and enjoyed working on and looking at old cars.

Guy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Millie J. (Weaver) Kenworthy, daughters, Kellie (Nicholas) LeMay of Fairburn, GA and Tammy (Jason) Franklin of Linton, son, John (Kecia) Kenworthy of Linton, grandchildren, Ashley Stockrahm, Christopher Stockrahm, Kelsie Mowery, Josha Kenworthy, John Kenworthy, Savannah Neighbors, Bridget Wright, Nathan Padgett, Isabella Franklin, and Sophia Franklin, ten great-grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Azalea, Jaden, LaTravis, Lily, Kaine, Tayte, Rylee, and Paisley, brother, Mike (Janet) Kenworthy of Montoon, IL,  and sisters, Janet (David) Richardson of Boulder, CO and Gloria "Pooch" (Keith) Anthony of Tickfall, LA.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, with Larry Joe Goodman and Tracy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
