Rusty F. Wheeler, Sr., age 70, of Jasonville, formerly of Stinesville, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2019, in Jasonville. He was born in Bedford, Indiana on June 14, 1949.

He worked many years at RCA in Bloomington.

He enjoyed building doon buggies, trikes, and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed hill climbing on motorcycles and going fishing. He was an expert knife and hatchet thrower, winning several competitions.

He is survived by his son, Rusty Wheeler of Morgantown, his daughter, Janis Crone of Gosport, former spouse, Pam Wheeler-Beliles of Spencer, grandchildren, Cody, Dallas, Dalton, & Austin Wheeler, Kristen Hannah, Jessica, Willy, Waylon, and Jonny Crone, and his great-grandchildren, Colton, Lila, Tucker, Karson, & Cooper Wheeler, A.J. & Odyssey Hannah, Jordan & Kane Crone, and Evie Newton.

He was preceded in death by several siblings and friends.

Visitation will be held at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer on Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 4-8 P.M.
