Glenna J. (Davis) Myers, age 72, of Solsberry, formerly of Linton, passed away at 12:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at St. Vincent Evansville Hospital, due to complications of surgery. She was born in Union City, Ohio on Feb. 14, 1946, and was the daughter of Omer & Mary (Nelson) Davis.

Glenna attended Linton-Stockton High School and graduated from Ivy Tech Nursing School in Bloomington at age 42, becoming an LPN and working at Bloomington Hospital for many years. In earlier years, she was a top sales associate for Mary Kay Cosmetics, earning a car.

She was a member of Solsberry United Methodist Church. She loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Sarah Cooksey of Solsberry, Scott (Amy) Myers of Springville, and Shelley Frye of Linton, four brothers, Leon (Bernice) Davis of Ft. Wayne, Bill (Mary) Davis of Ft. Wayne, Sam (Jan) Davis of Jasonville, and David (Robyn) Davis of Yorktown, five grandchildren, Josh (Heather) Cooksey, Ashley (Jack Johnson) Cooksey, Jared Myers, Austin (Elissa Foster) Frye, and Mallorey Frye, eleven great-grandchildren, and her companion, Roger Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Paul Myers, and several aunts and uncles.
