George R. Fritch III, age 66, of Linton, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 18, 1953, the son of George Fritch II & Ruth (Wardwell) Fritch.

He was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. He worked as a salesman selling water softeners for Culligan Water for several years. He was a loving, selfless father, husband, grandfather and friend. George was a charismatic man who spread laughter and fostered friendship wherever he went. He loved sharing the miracle of Christmas magic.

George is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Billie Jo Fritch; children, Jodi, Jill and George; 7 grandchildren and sister, Sharon (Ed) Stanley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a private memorial service and Masonic service at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton for family on Saturday, December 19, 2020

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Toys for Tots through the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
