George L. Forsdick, 78, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday January 22, 2019 at University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born January 4, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of Harold L. and Margaret Louise (Fuchs) Forsdick.
George was and Electrical Engineer at Crane, he was retired. George was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield and very active in the Bloomfield First Baptist Church food pantry.

Surviving relatives include his wife Joanna Forsdick, his children, Margaret (Joe) Mills, Dominick (Lori) Forsdick, four grandchildren, Tyler (Brittney) Mills, Shelby (Noah) Wingate-Dolph, Kyle Forsdick, Dylan Forsdick, one great grandchild, Calvin Wingate-Dolph, one brother, Harold Lance Forsdick. George was preceded in death by his mother.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on February 23, 2019 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield at 11:30 A.M. with Father Beju Thomas officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry in George’s name.

Joshua David Newton, age 39, of Petersburg, formerly of Linton, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born in Linton on March 27, 1985, the son of James E. and Tamberly L. (Poe) Newton.
Larry D. Beverstock, 84, of Cloverdale, Indiana, passed away, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home with loved ones by his side. He was born on September 25, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Bard Bertram Beverstock and Iris (Robison) Beverstock Love. Larry married his loving wife, Sandy S. (Bloom) Beverstock on March 9, 1995.
Norma Louella Elliott, 91, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Autumn Trace in Linton. She was born on July 29,1933, in Linton, Indiana to Jesse R and Lola A. (Thrasher) Alsop. Norma married her loving husband, Donald M. Elliott, on February 13, 1951.
Danny R. Cox, 69, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at IU Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on July 7, 1955, in Sullivan, Indiana, to Curtis and Irma J. (Cunningham) Cox.
McKenzie A. Burnette, age 29, of Newberry, passed away at 11:15 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Bloomington on October 3, 1995, the daughter of Jerry L. and Amanda L. (Neidigh) Burnette.
Jerry Lee Newsom, age 81, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 4:15 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Glenburn Home in Linton. He was born in Linton on August 22, 1943, the son of Robert and Geneva (Scott) Newsom.
Janet McCarter, age 89, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 2:24 am on Friday, February 7, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Lake County, IN on December 11, 1935, the daughter of Benham & Josie (Mitten) Williams.
