Gene Carol Prulhiere, age 75, of Linton, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at his son”s residence in Counce, TN. He was born in Brazil, IN on December 22, 1946, the son of Paul Eugene & Louise Marie (Williams) Prulhiere.

He was a graduate of VanBuren High School. He worked for Public Service of Indiana as a drafting supervisor for around 30 years. In his younger years he enjoyed golfing and spent his later years fishing with Dorothy. He also tolerated spending time with his family. (He did actually enjoy his family. Honestly!)

He is survived by sons, Brian (Tiffany) Prulhiere of Counce, TN and Paul (Ashley) Prulhiere of Avon; Dorothy”s sons, Frank Littlejohn and Virgil Michael; grandchildren, Renee Prulhiere, Aaron Prulhiere, Caidence Ward, Devin Ward II, Elliott Prulhiere, Kaci (Andy) Lutz, Trevor Littlejohn, Jenna Littlejohn and Devin Littlejohn; great grandchildren, Clark Lutz, Nolan Hess and Harvey Lutz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, companion of seventeen years, Dorothy Lawson; granddaughter, Natasha Wegner and grandson, Ryan Littlejohn.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linton at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022.
