Freddie G. “Fred” Shedd, 89, of Linton, IN passed away at 7:55 P.M. Friday, May 13, 2022 in Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Linton, IN. He was born December 8, 1932 in Kansas City, KS to Emmett Sheddand Frieda (Albrecht) Shedd.

Fred’s parents preceded him in death and he is left with no immediate family surviving.

Fred worked for the Panhandle Eastern Pipeline and retired in 1988. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. Fred was a member of Zorah Shrine Valley of Terre Haute, Scottish Rite of Terre Haute, Parke County F&AM Lodge #8, Stockton, MO F&AM Lodge #283, Boliver Chapter #5, Boliver York Rite. Fred was a long time resident of Montezuma, IN.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Fred’s wishes there will be a Graveside Service at Stockton Cemetery in Stockton, MO with Military Honors at 1 P.M. (CST) Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Interment will be at Stockton Cemetery in Stockton, MO.
