Frank A. Figg, 66, of Freedom, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2018 on his farm.  Frank was born at home in Greene County, Indiana, on December 15, 1951 to Charles "Shad" and Freda (Thatcher) Figg.  Frank graduated from Spencer high school in 1969.  Frank was a veteran of the United States Army and belonged to the American Legion post #95 of Spencer.  Frank loved farming and was devoted to his family.  

Frank is survived by his wife, Myrtella "Marty" Figg, whom he married on May 24, 1974, children, Amy M. Figg of Ellettsville, Adam D. (Katie) Figg of Terre Haute, grandchildren, Cole E. Ruble, Bryce A. Ruble, brother, Nolan (Gloria) Figg of New Hope, brother-in-laws, Albert Madero of Wichita, Kansas, Mark (Judy) Barnhart of Monticello, Illinois, Gary (Janet) Barnhart of Sacramento, California, sister-in-law, Pat Figg of Arney, and several nieces and nephews. 

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joy Madero, brother, Robert "Bob" Figg, and mother and father-in-law, David and Rose Barnhart.  

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.  Service will be led by Mark Barnhart.
