Eurtis M. Hasler 98, of Newberry, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Lyons Health & Living Center. Born October 16, 1919 in Scotland, she was the daughter of Samuel C. and Oma Frances (Britton) Gainey.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include: her husband of 76 years, Leland R. Hasler; one daughter, Joanette Kay Nolting of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Kimberly Nolting and Todd Nolting both of Indianapolis and Melissa Horton and Jeanna Walters both of Sullivan; great grandchildren, Landon, Carson, Chris, Zack, Matt, Nick, Natalie, Trenton, Chelsey, Elizabeth, Dustin, McKenzie, Matthew and Lane;her great, great grandchildren, Mason Ramona, Kelli Jolene, Olivia and Alexis; and one sister, Winoma Gainey.

She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Hasler, two grandsons, Kelly Hasler and Robert Nolting, 6 brothers, 5 sisters and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Kenneth Adams Officiating. Interment will follow in Scotland cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
