Esther Myers

Esther Marie Myers, 68, of Linton, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by family on Friday, February 7, 2020.  She was born on August 15, 1951 in Bloomfield, Indiana to Junior and Rose (Clayton) Bough. Esther was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Order of  Eastern Star Columbian Chapter #140, widow member of the Linton BPO Elks #866 and Greene County Shriners Ladies.  She enjoyed camping at Sullivan Lake.  Family and friends were treated to homemade noodles, breads, pies, candies and specialties only she could make.  The kids always looked forward to the treats Grandma Esther would bring at holiday times.  She especially enjoyed assisting in making events for family & friends extra special by making delicious cream cheese mints.

Esther worked as a C.N.A. for 45 years.  She spent her life loving and caring for others at home, caring for her husband and young daughter with health problems and in Glenburn Home caring for her residents.  Glenburn Home was her second family. She worked hard and never quit caring for residents and those she worked along side.
