Ernest L. Hupp, 72, of Worthington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Aperion Care Facility in Spencer, Indiana.  Ernest was born in Bloomington, Indiana on October 13, 1947 to Francis "Frank" Hupp and Wilma L. (Henry) Hupp. 

Ernest served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  He worked at General Electric and was a Security Officer while living in Florida.  Ernest was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion.

Ernest married his best friend, Claudette (Neal) Hupp on January 23, 1976. 

He is survived by his wife, children, Kathy Hubbard, Melissa Kedrowitz, Jennifer, Ernest and wife Hupp, Theresa Lynn and husband Stevie Michael, Leann and husband Fred Cickham, grandchildren, Wyatt Harguindeguy, Martin Michael, Darren Michael, Larry Michael, Jr., Karli Gordon, Cody Wolfe, Eric Hubbard, Brandon Hubbard, Elijah Hupp, Courtney England, Matthew England, Camren England, Monica Smith, Jeremy Hupp, Joshua Hupp, Ryan Michael, Ashlyn Michael, Stephanie Michael, Elizabeth Michael, great-grandchildren, Hunter Gordon, Caleb Wolf, April Hubbard, Harley Hubbard, Damien Hubbard, Jake Hubbard, Presley Hubbard, Nick Hubbard, Maria Hubbard, and Gracie England. 

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be 6:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2020 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home and Crematory, 23 South Jefferson Street, Worthington.  Ernest will be honored with a full military service.

A gathering of friends and family will be 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
