Elizabeth Karen Sanders, age 72 of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 3:47 A.M. on Friday morning, November 18, 2022, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on November 11, 1950, the daughter of J.L. and Marionette (Sowards) Wiley.

She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisville.

Karen worked as a paralegal in South Carolina at Moncton, Hembree, and Humphries Law Firm. She was an avid University of Kentucky fan, and enjoyed ride alongs with police in Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandy (Trent) Frady of Bloomfield; a son, Brian (Megan) Sanders of Raleigh, North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Nathan, Emily, and Josie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
