Elizabeth Ellen “Ciss” Jerrels, 78, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday November 28, 2019 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan. Born November 1, 1941 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Paul and Geneva (Hert) White.

Ciss worked at White’s Grocery Store, the shoe store, laundry mat, and had worked with her parents at the Café, she was a talented cake decorator and loved helping and taking care of others always putting friends and family first. She was a member of the Bloomfield First Christian Church; she was also a member of the Bloomfield Eastern Star.

Surviving relatives include her husband Robert Jerrels, two children, Angela (Andrew) Hoseman, Paula Peoples, four grandchildren, Ashely (Michael) Conner, Andrea (Michael) Peoples, January Hoseman, Cameron Hoseman, she has three great-grandchildren, one brother, Earl (Joann) White and several nieces and nephews.

Ciss was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Jerrels, two brothers, Steve White, Bill White and her parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. on Monday and 1 P.M. Tuesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Scott Chastain and Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
