Edward Ray Bedwell, 80, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away on November 3, 2021, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on July 27, 1941, the son of Raymond Bedwell and Vivian M. (Robertson) Bedwell.

Edward met and married the love of his life Karen (Weaver) Bedwell in 1960 where they started their life journey. They married in May of 1961. He earned his high school degree in his 50’s. Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working in his garage, and just being home. His family described him as the “Jack of all Trades!”

He is survived by his wife of over 60 years; Karen (Weaver) Bedwell, son; Randy (Angelena) Bedwell of Jasonville, grandchildren; Amanda (Michael Sauer) Bedwell, Nicholas Bedwell, Linsey Buechler, Lacey Hartke (Collin), great-grandchildren; Autumn Buechler, Deacon Schwinghammer, Emerson Schwinghammer, siblings; Donna (Daniel) Geatches, Bill (Rita), Joseph (Kim) Bedwell, Josephine (Monte) Cooper, and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Jeff Bedwell, siblings; Bobby Bedwell, Martha Tryon, Donnie Bedwell, and Johnny Bedwell.

Visitation will be scheduled on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 11:00 A.M. -2:00 P.M. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Linton Indiana.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
