Eathel M. Rippy

Eathel M. Rippy, 92, of Solsberry passed away Thursday October 18, 2018 at The Residence of McCormick’s Creek in Spencer. Born December 19, 1925 in Portland, Tennessee the daughter of Will and Leanner (Trammel) McCoin.

Eathel was a homemaker, seamstress and upholster.

Surviving relatives include her four children, David Rippy of Princeton, Ivy (Darrell) Raines, Kenny Rippy all of Solsberry and Donna (Terry) Guy of Bloomington, seven grandchildren, Amy Rush, Andy Rippy and Jerry Rippy all of Solsberry, Terri Colburn of Missouri, Danielle Guy and Josh Guy both of Bloomington and Sarah Martin of Bedford, she has eleven great grandchildren, three brothers, Alton, Jerry and Roy McCoin, three sisters, Lizzie Finn, Ruby Gregory and Peggy McGlothlin.

Eathel was preceded in death by her husband Vernon L. Rippy on September 12, 1992; four brothers, Ollie, Leon, William and Billy McCoin, three sisters, Annie Rippy, Birdie Stinson, Wilma Bradley and her parents.

Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday October 23, until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
