Dorothy Loffland, age 94, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 7, 2019. She was born in Calvertville, IN on April 11, 1925, the daughter of John Wilkie & Myrtle Louise (Tally) Wilkie.

She was a graduate of Worthington High School. She loved to do needlework, crafts and spend time with her family. She was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Calvertville and attended Folsom United Methodist Church in Worthington.

Dorothy is survived by her granddaughters, Heather Meggitt and Lisa Morgan; great grandchildren, Amanda LaFrance and Jacob Meggitt; several nieces and nephews as well as her sister-in-law, Avis Wilkie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Loffland; son, Gary Loffland; brothers, Robert Wilkie and John A. Wilkie and sister, Kathryn VanDeventer.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, with Pastor Craig Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Concord General Baptist Church or Folsom United Methodist Church of Worthington through the funeral home.
