Donald ‘Woody’ W. Woods, age 64, of Lyons, passed away peacefully at his residence in Lyons. He was born in Tellico Plains, TN on October 8, 1956, the son of Elmer Benjamin Woods and Dorothy Leona (Atkins) Woods.

Woody loved the country life, going camping, golfing, fishing and shooting guns. He loved being a grandfather and spoiled every single one of them, all the time.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Woods, children, Benji (Jaime) Woods, Amanda (Brian) Woods, Christopher (Jessica) Sluss, Emalee (Clay) Rollins, Ethan Webb, grandchildren, Cassidy Woods, Jase Woods, Olivia Rollins, Alec Sluss, Aubrey Sluss, Amelia Rollins, Cameron Rollins, Autumn Sluss, sister, Nona Womble, special nephew, Scotty Woods, and many friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Lawrence O’Dell, Francis Clark, Mildred Daugherty, Lodema Tyler, Mary Sue Roberts, David Woods, Bill Woods, Fred Woods, Joe Woods, Willie Woods

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 140 East Vincennes Street, Linton, Indiana 47441.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Shrine Club through the funeral home.
