Don Lewis Driscol
Don Lewis Driscol 87, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 15, 2020. Born December 13, 1932 in Greene County, Indiana, he was the son of Lewis Raymond and Lillian Elmira (Redelman) Driscol.
Don served his country in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He worked for RCA and Beard Industries before retiring from NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Antioch Christian Church, Worthington VFW, Worthington American Legion and the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Helen Ruth (Barrett) Driscol of McKinney, Texas. He and Helen were married the first time on Dec 18, 1955 and then again on Oct 11, 2015 after having been divorced for 13 years; one daughter, Gwen Dudine (Chip) of McKinney, Texas; one brother, Richard Driscol of Port Charlotte, Florida; his grandchildren, Kelci Cabana (Thomas), Collin Dudine and Carson Dudine; two great grandchildren, Grayson and Hunter Cabana; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three infant daughters, Holli Anne, Melanie Irene and Suzanne Marie, two brothers, two sisters and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Scott Brown, Rev Arlen Pope and Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating.. Interment will follow in Antioch cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Antioch Christian Church.
