Dennis R. Bough, age 68, of Worthington, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family at 3:04 A.M. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at his residence.  He was born in Linton on May 10, 1950, the son of James C. & Delema (Sparks) Bough.  

Dennis was a graduate of Switz City Central High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and helping his family with any project he could.

He is survived by four daughters, Janet (Randy) Harris of Jasonville, Tammy Rush of Worthington, Donna (G.J.) Egenolf of Worthington, and Tracey (Bengy) Surber of Spencer, a brother, Danny (Gloria) Bough of Worthington, three sisters, Donna K. Heaton of Bloomfield, Karen Edwards of Paoli, and Teresa Fulford of Linton, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife of 36 years, Earlene Sue (Carrell) Bough. 

Funeral service will held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery.  Military rites will be held.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of service.
