Daylene Pauline Harmon

Daylene Pauline Harmon, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born August 28, 1938 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Norman Mathew and Eva Gladys (Deckard) Moat.

She was a homemaker. She loved the great outdoors, hiking, camping, and collecting rocks. She enjoyed spending valued time and making memories with her family. She was a quilter and loved doing arts and crafts.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Tim Harmon (Elaine) of Farmington, New Mexico, Norman Harmon (Jeanie) of Farmington, New Mexico, Billie Harmon and Greg Harmon (Rhonda) both of Bloomfield, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Norma Hall (Ron) of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Robert Moat of Bloomfield, Indiana and a sister, Donna Sue Moat Haley (James) of Bloomfield, New Mexico; Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Harmon, her second husband, Benjamin Harmon, one son, Ronald Harmon, three brothers, James Moat, William Moat and Ronald Moat, grandsons, Adam Moat and Joshua Archibeque and her parents.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Solsberry American Legion Post #450, 2705 North Legion Road Solsberry, Indiana 47459 at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
