David William Bailey III, age 47, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Linton on October 9, 1973, the son of David Bailey II and Thresa (Mayfield) Bailey.

David was a 1993 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. He worked as a driver for Lundy and D & S Transportation Services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his boys, and his animals. He attended Linton Assembly of God Church.

David is survived by his wife whom he married August 17, 2002, Malinda (Tucker) Bailey, his parents of Linton, two sons, Jonathan David and Levi William Bailey, both at home in Linton, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Amy Tucker of Linton, two brothers-in-law, Thadd (Paula) Tucker and Todd (Jill) Tucker, several aunts and uncles, two nieces, and four nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 with Pastor Billy Worland officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
