Darren Scott Hill 60, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born December 25, 1963 in Bloomington, he was the son of David Stanley and Nina Ruth (Shorter) Hill.

Darren worked for Bybee Stone Company and liked to fish and hunt.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Tabatha (Nichols) Hill whom he married May 21, 1988; one son, Dalton Hill; a sister, Beth Newkirk; one brother, Shane Hill and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Bryan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Sandborn Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Sunday and 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Tabatha Hill.
