Darlene Walters

Darlene Walters, 80, of Worthington, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. Darlene was born in Flat Rock, Illinois, on January 9, 1940 to Noel Parker and Mildred (Ford) Parker.

Darlene graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. She retired from the Diamond Chain Company in Indianapolis and served as the Vice President of the United Steel Workers Local Union. 

Darlene is survived by her husband, Don Walters, children, Joe and wife Nancy Mullins, Donnie Mullins, Monty and wife Sonia Mullins, Christine Walters, Jennifer and husband Darian Brown, seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sister, Phyllis and husband Walter Creek, sister-in-law, Nancy Parker and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Raydel Parker, Marilyn Parker and brother, Earl Parker. 

Funeral services are 12:00 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Assembly of God, 303 Canal Street, Worthington.  Pastor Davey Dyer will officiate. 

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday, at the church.
