Darla Jean (Pelfree) Pruitt, 59, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday May 16, 2018, at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born November 25, 1958, in Bloomington, the daughter of Harless and Betty (Butcher) Pelfree.

Darla was one of ten children, surviving siblings are Eddie (Diane) Becky, Marcia Carroll (Pebbles) Her children, Dawn (Michael) Dean (Tammy) Randi Jo (David) and Harley. Her grandchildren, Trevor, Shelby, Cody, Claudia, Darla, Abigayle, and one great grandchild, Grayson.

Darla was preceded in death by her husband Dale Pruitt, four brothers, Jeff, Ronnie, Donnie and Randy, one sister, Sherrie one niece, April and her parents.

Darla enjoyed life, she loved to sing, help people, her family and friends, she knew no stranger, she was a member of the Bethel Christian Church and Eagles Lodge in Bloomington, she was a CNA for eight years, managed laundry mats for five years.

There will be no public visitation.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday may 21, 2018, at Dishman Cemetery with Pastor Dave Self officiating. Burial will be at Dishman Cemetery.
