Daniel "Danny" French, age 62, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 4:19 pm on Friday, March 22, 2024, at I.U. Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Linton, IN on September 29, 1961, the son of Dewey French & Wilma Grace (Buskirk) Hayman.

He was a 1980 graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. He worked at IMI for almost 39 years as a concrete truck driver. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved working on his two old cars he had at home. He enjoyed old cars and going to car shows.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of almost 37 years, Ruth (Miller) French of Worthington; children, Courtney (Tom) Vlaskamp of Worthington and Josh (Brittany) French of Lyons; grandchildren, Grant French, Emily Vlaskamp and Drew French; brother-in-law, Mike (Mary) Miller; aunt, Mary Buskirk as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Randy French and sister-in-law, Susie Ellington.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 with Pastor Doug Cassel and Pastor David Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 pm, and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
