Dana Hillary (Parker) Brewer, age 51, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at her home in Jasonville after several years of poor health. She was born August 24, 1969 in Columbia, MO to Kathleen School and Dan Parker.

Dana Brewer

She grew up in Highland, IN where she attended school from K-11. In 1986 she voluntarily gave up her senior year to move to Owensville, MO to live with her grandparents, Ralph & Mildred School, to help them during her grandfather''''s terminal illness. She graduated from Area R-2 High School in Owensville in 1987 and then went on to East Central Community College in Union, MO where she obtained an Associates degree in office administration. While in that area she worked at Lost Valley Lake Resort.

She moved back to the Northwest Indiana area where she wroked at a large insurance office in the Chicago loop until 1993 when she moved to Englewood, Florida with her first husband, William P. Bellamy.

She returned to Northwest Indiana in 2002 to live with her three children, Kurt, Katelyn and Kaoline Bellamy. She already was having serious health issues at that time.

In 2003 she married again and would go on to have two more children, Kaylee and Kendall Brewer.

For the next 18 years she would like in the Bloomfield area. She worked for many years at the hotel located at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, IN. Due to poor health, she lost that job which she loved and prospered in. But while there she earned the highest award given to civilians. She was dedicated to always doing the best job she could do and those in higher command recognized that. She was immensely proud of herself, which lasted for over 10 years.

Dana is survived by her mother, Kathleen Parker-O''''Day of Rotonda West, FL; father, Dan H. (Janet) Parker of St. Charles, MO; children, Kurt Parker Bellamy, Katelyn Rebekkah Bellamy and Karoline Ruth Bellamy all of Rotonda West, FL, Kaylee Lucinda Brewer and Kendall Dawn Brewer who lived with her in Jasonville.

She is also survived by her maternal family (all of Missouri), uncles, Ralph D. Scheel and Robert Scheel; aunt, Ruth Scheel (John) Farris as well as her cousin Rhonda Hollandsworth (Mark) Cooper who helped her so much in the last few months with her health struggles. She has many other Scheel cousins who reside in Missouri and Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph & Mildred Scheel; paternal grandmother, Carolyn H. Jepson; step-father, Chuck O''Day; uncle, John Mark Scheel; aunt and uncle, Nancy & Gene Havener; two infant children, Konstance Marie and Klarissa Irene as well as her second husband Marvin Brewer.

Dana always said that the many opportunities she had growing up gave her the confidence to go anywhere and not be afraid of new challenges. Little did she know that her challenges would be many. If she could speak today, she would tell everyone, "take care of your health first!" She was an incredibly good person, but she could not defeat the darkness of this world. She was born a "Sunday child" to be "bright and bonny and good and gay" and she was always a precious child. May she finally Rest In Peace.
