Dale Ray Kinnett, age 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Sullivan on May 15, 1953, the son of Bernard & Shirley (Raines) Kinnett.

Dale was a 1971 graduate of Union High School in Dugger. Throughout the years he was a life insurance agent for Western & Southern Life in Linton, owned and operated Parkview Lanes in Linton, and retired from Bender Lumber.

Dale loved bowling, ins younger years playing mens softball, umpiring, and golfing. He favorite thing in life was spending time with his son.

He was a member of the F. & A.M. Linton Masonic Lodge #560.

Dale is survived by his wife whom he married on October 24, 2009, Cheryl (Pavia) Kinnett of Linton, his son, Rayden, daughter, Carrie Kinnett Valad, sister Deanna (Johnny) Camden, two uncles, Larry (Connie) Kinnett and Dwane Kinnett, three nephews, and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his niece, Trudi Anderson.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until time of Mason Service at 7:00 P.M.

Dale’s family would like to thank his friends Chris and Julie Scott and James Bowers for their rides to the hospital, and their support and help to Cheryl.
