Christopher Ryan Norris

Christopher Ryan Norris, infant son of Ryan Christopher and Chelston Sue Chaney-Norris, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Greene County General Hospital. Christopher was born on September 18, 2024 in Terre Haute.

He was a beautiful baby boy with a head full of dark brown hair and an angelic smile. He enjoyed sitting with his daddy and watching football, spending time being rocked in his mother’s arms, and watching his two older sisters play. Though his life was short, he brought joy to everyone that was lucky enough to have met him. He was deeply loved and will dwell in our hearts forever.

Surviving relatives include: his parents, Ryan and Chelston Chaney-Norris of Linton; two sisters, Alanie Norris and Jacelyn Norris; his paternal grandparents, Christopher and Stacy Norris, Ronda and Harold Berry; Maternal grandparents, Karen Franke-Chaney and Garry Chaney; great grandparents, Paul and Deann Norris, Sharon Chaney, Virginia Berry, Carolyn Crowell and Bessie Moore; aunts and uncles, Dalton Berry, Evan Irwin, Jessie and Kelsi Chaney, Casey Chaney, Jessica Chaney, Cory Rawley, Brennan Memering, and Tyler Norris.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Jackie Lee Chaney, paternal great grandfather Mark Copeland, cousin Austin Chaney, Sally and Karen Rawley and his great uncle Steven Norris.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
