/Chelsea Dawn (Goodman) Hertaus, 37, of Winslow, IN lost her lifelong battle with Type 1 Diabetes on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born August 16, 1984 in Terre Haute, IN to Leslie Dale “Peach” Goodman and Ramona Kay (Griffith) Phipps.
Survivors include her fiancé`, Dereck Vickers of Winslow, IN; son, Zaden Hertaus of Tucson, AZ, daughter, Zoe Casey of Winslow, IN; mother, Ramona (Griffith) Phipps of Terre Haute, IN; grandmother, Pat Griffith of Jasonville, IN; sisters, Michell (Goodman) Martin of Mackey, IN, Amanda (Goodman) Spicer of Jasonville, IN, Amanda (Schunk) Bedsaul of Foley, AL, Tricia Huffman-Phipps of Terre Haute, IN; nieces, Shoshauna (Fisher) Dunigan of Fort Branch, IN, Madilynn Bedsaul of Foley, AL, Journey Harvey of Terre Haute, IN; nephews, Tyler Kunkel of Foley, AL, Trevor Kunkel of Foley, AL, Kenny Martin of Mackey, IN, Brady Miller of Jasonville, IN, Preston Spicer of Jasonville, IN, Branson Spicer of Jasonville, IN; great-niece, Payton Kunkel of Foley, AL; uncles, Stephen Griffith of Bloomfield, IN, Brent Griffith of Loxley, AL; many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie “Peach” Goodman; grandfather, Max Griffith.
Chelsea enjoyed playing video games, shopping and cooking. She loved her family and spending time with them.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor David Smith officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
