Charles Henry Albright

Charles Henry Albright, age 87, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Glenburn Home in Linton.  He was born in Mitchell on November 9, 1932, the son of Claude & Avanell (Cooper) Albright. 

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a retired printer at the Boston Herald.  He later worked in Poland, Maine part time.  He spent his retirement years in Florida for many years, and spent his final years in Linton.

He enjoyed woodworking and square dancing.   

Charles is survived by a son, Donald (Karman) Albright of Linton, Daughter-In-Law, Stephanie Albright of Indianapolis, two sisters, Alberta Dearinger of Greenwood and Pam Black of Tampa, Florida, three grandsons, Shane Albright, of Linton, Jared (Brittney) Albright, of Linton, and Matthew (Jessica) Albright of Bloomington, two granddaughters, Rachael Albright of Bloomington and Renae Albright of Bloomington, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Josephine (Casco) Albright, a son, Mickey Ray Albright, sister, Vivian "Pippie" Beavers, and a brother, Kenny Albright.

Private family arrangements are entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.

Services and entombment will be held in Florida.
