Carl Frederick Carr, 73, of Owensburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his residence. Born October 1, 1948 in Linton, he was the son of Fred and Evelyn (Cummings) Carr.

Carl retired from NWSC Crane in 2011 after 27 years of employment. He served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. Bud was a life member of the VFW, American Legion Post 196 and Amvets Fred Carr memorial post 49.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Pam Carr of Owensburg; son, Wesley Carr (Kelly) of Owensburg; stepdaughter, Serena Brinegar (Chris) of Owensburg; grandson, Rene Carr (Cheyenne) of Owensburg; Grandchildren, Savannah and Isaac Jacob, Samuel, Whitney and Jena St. John; great grandsons, Chase Carr and Bryston Benton; great granddaughter, Bristol Benton and a sister, Shirley King (Gene) of Dugger.

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Bud St. John, grandson, Brian Benton and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice House.
