Brian “Mike” Blackmore, 82, of Worthington passed away peacefully on Friday September 4, 2020 at his residence. Born May 30, 1938 in Bloomfield the son of Charles Lee and Rosanna (Parsons) Blackmore.

Mike was a school teacher and a farmer, he coached basketball at Shakamak, Switz City and WRV. He also taught at North Daviess High School where he was athletic director.

Surviving relatives include his daughter, Janell Blackmore, son, David Blackmore, two grandchildren, Courtney and Cameron, sister, Karen Workman and brother, Charles (Chig) Blackmore.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife of over 49 years, Darlene Blackmore on December 24, 2018.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Brian “Mike” Blackmore’s name.
