Brenda Jane Anderson, age 62, of Shelburn, passed away June 4, 2021 in her residence. Born December 26, 1958, in Linton, she was the daughter of Raymond Leroy Kirkpatrick and Cloropatra “Patty” (St. John) Kirkpatrick.

She married Michael Wayne Anderson on July 31, 1981 and he preceded her.

Brenda had worked in the Housekeeping Department for the Linton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a firm believer in God. Her hobbies were crochet, fishing, spoiling grandkids and family time.

Survivors includes 2 sons, Shannon Ray Anderson, Jasonville, and Scott Kirkpatrick and wife Beckey, Terre Haute; daughter Theresa Bose, Shelburn; brother Ward Thomas Kirkpatrick. Evansville; 8 grandchildren, Tasha Waters and husband Skyler, CO, Caleb Kirkpatrick, Kore Kirkpatrick, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Leah Kirkpatrick, and Rachael Kirkpatrick, Terre Haute; Nicole Lee and husband Joseph, Terre Haute, and Hannah Bose, Shelburn; and many cousins; great grandson Michael Adam Lee, Sadire and Franklin Waters, CO.

Her parents, husband, brother Raymond Leroy Kirkpatrick Jr, sister Linda Diann Ferree, granddaughter Willow Dirchelle Bose, maternal and paternal grandparents and several cousins preceded her.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 1 pm in the Peavey Cemetery. The Cox Funeral Home is in charge of services.
